iPlan has long dedicated itself to building a venue for small nonprofits and others on the Internet that gives them equal footing with other organizations of greater size but never smaller ideals. These are a few of the groups we support through our Nonprofit Initiative and commitment to the greater community.

The Peregrine Fund - peregrinefund.org click here to visit
  The Peregrine Fund developed from the shared concern that the Peregrine Falcon might go extinct in the wild. The initial work was to learn how to breed falcons in captivity, with the idea the young could be released in the wild. In 1984 the current location in Boise, Idaho was established -- the World Center for Birds of Prey.

  The Oinkari Basque Dancers formed over 40 years ago to continue the traditions of Basque dance in America and to honor the tradition of their ancestors who settled in Idaho in the mid to late 19th century. The troupe is internationally known and is recognized as one of the foremost folk dance troupes in North America.

  Joy 2 the World is a New England based micro lender specializing in support for projects in Africa and specifically in Ghana. This group is affiliated with the Women's Trust which has been providing support to women in Africa since 2001.

  Ten Thousand Villages is a national organization of independent nonprofit stores created through the efforts of the Mennonite Church and their local members to extend the promise of global fair trade practices into the communities they serve.
   
The Boise Basque School - boisekoikastoa.org click here to visit
  Boiseko Ikastola, the only Basque pre-school outside of the Basque Country, began in 1998 with accreditation by the City of Boise. Euskera is the language spoken at this total-immersion program, but not all of the children are of Basque heritage. It is a common belief that children learning a second language during the early stages of their lives develop important cognitive skills and will be better able to learn additional languages as they grow.

The boating community of Boise has been committed to maintaining and caring for the Boise River for decades and is engaged in working with the City of Boise and other entities to help maintain the river for future generations of river and boating enthusiasts, citizens and other who have an interest in keeping the Boise River healthy.

Owned by iPlan founder Dave Green, it benefits and sustains the culture and lifestyle enjoyed by the residents of the large, historic neighborhood in Boise, Idaho. The role of the site is to support neighborhood nonprofits like Ten Thousand Villages, the YMCA and others.
